On March 31, 2023, the 2023 Cross-border E-commerce Industry Data Report Conference was successfully held in Shenzhen. According to the statistics of China Customs, the total import and export of cross-border e-commerce in China in 2022 was 2.11 trillion yuan, mainly in exports. The Shenzhen Bureau of Commerce stated at the conference that the total import and export of goods in Shenzhen reached 3.67 trillion yuan in 2022, setting a new historical high, with a year-on-year increase of 3.7%. Among them, the export volume was 2.19 trillion yuan, with a growth rate of 13.9%, ranking first in mainland China’s foreign trade cities for the 30th consecutive year. Shenzhen’s cross-border e-commerce import and export exceeded 190 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of over 2.4 times.
Wang Xin, the executive chairman of the Shenzhen Cross-border E-commerce Association, released the “2022 Cross-border E-commerce Industry Data Report Blue Book” from five dimensions: cross-border e-commerce industry operation analysis, independent website depth analysis, analysis of 13 cross-border e-commerce listed companies, analysis of the impact of international situation changes on the industry, and analysis of new cross-border e-commerce models. Wang Xin stated that in the “vertical” industrial chain and “horizontal” business field of cross-border e-commerce industry, we should make comprehensive efforts to help build the national cross-border e-commerce economic ecosystem and pioneer the construction of an advanced cross-border e-commerce service platform.
